This is how we do my senior pictures...

These are my senior pictures from high school. They're almost exactly a year old now - I can hardly believe how fast time flies! These were taken by my dear friend Allie when our class was on the Kauai, one of the Hawaiian Islands. We found a few worn down cottages near one of our filming sites in Weimea, and stumbled upon this awesome door splattered with red paint. I hope you enjoy!

This was my #1 pic that was put in the yearbook.

This is how we do Jordan and Cassidy...

One of my friends from high school just got married! These are two of his wedding pictures.
I posted the the whimsical effects I played with. Enjoy!

Congratulations Jordan and Cassidy Spangler! I wish you all the best!

This is how we do a tribute to my favorite blogs....

Hey y'all! Today I decided to do a tribute to my favorite blogs! Some of these are my photography inspiration, some recipes, and some just fun! I hope you check these out!

Brittany Stover specializes in Wedding, Engagement, Family, Senior, Birthday, and styled photo shoots! These are two of my favorite pictures from her post "Engaged {Lexi and Tony}." Here's the link: http://www.brittanystoverphotography.com/blog/engaged-lexi-and-tony/

Green Wedding Shoes is a wedding blog featuring wedding photos, engagement shoots, styled shoots, inspiration boards, DIY projects, and information about vendors, product lines, and destinations.
Here's a sample DIY idea that I absolutely love: A Cupcake Topping Bar! Here's the link:

(This next blog I wasn't able to get a logo from.)
It's called Lauren's Latest Everyday Ingredients ~ Extraordinary Food.
It's an awesome food with lots of tasty recipes! Here's a picture of the front page and a picture of one of the recipes: Jalapeno Popper Buffalo Chicken Macaroni and Cheese. Here's the link:

Shades of Life is my friend Anneliese Wahlman's photography blog. Allie is such a creative person and I love the way she captures shots of her friends and the world around her.
Here are a few shots of some of our schoolmates.

This blog is called "Enchanted Serenity of Period Films." It's a one-stop spot for period drama lovers. It contains list of the top period drama films, BBC productions, information about vintage fashion, art, and other fun stuff. Here's a funny motivational poster I found in their fun stuff, and here's the link:

There's just one more blog to go! Currently some of my friends from Fountainview Academy - the graduating class of 2012, that is - are on their class mission trip in Honduras. They're keeping a blog of the work they're doing for the next few weeks, so I'm following them.
Here are a few of their shots. Enjoy! Link: http://fountainviewclassof12.blogspot.ca/

This is how we do my sister...

This is a picture my sister recently took and posted on facebook. I didn't like the quality so I played around with the color and effects a little. Isn't she gorgeous?

"Favor is deceitful and beauty is vain; but a woman that feareth the Lord, she shall be praised."
~Proverbs 31: 30

I also played around with some vintage effects.
I love the color scheme on this one! To me it just screams 1940's!

I tried a dotted effect/edge on this one. Which version do you like better?

This is how we do gingerbread...

Two days before Christmas, my mom took my sister Melissa, my best friend Rebekah, and I to see the Walla Walla Gingerbread house copetiton display at the Marcus Whitman Hotel. I absolutely loved all the little details and the hours that must have gone into these creations. I hope you enjoy them too!

Left to Right: Rachel, Rebekah, and Melissa

This is a model of the Marcus Whitman Hotel.

I really liked the colored glass windows made out of melted candy!

I love the details on this one - check out hte picture in the window!

The Aftermath
Little shreds a sparkling
Beneath the spicy Doug;
Snips of paper scattered
Across the scarlet rug.
Boxes here, ribbons there,
Ties of mangled metal;
Small bells and colored bows
Snug in nettles settle.

The rush scarcely over -
The children all in bed
Special dishes eaten
The age-old story read
A soft candle flickers
Stars gently light the night
Babe in stable sleeping -
All is calm, all is bright.

This is a very colorful modle of the Power House Theater

That's Marylin Manroe inside!

This is the train depot.

The clear bubbly windows shows there are details inside!

This is a more realistic version of the Power House Theater.

I love the peanut-butter cup seats inside!

Silly pictures...

Which did you like the best?
